Here at Black Cloud we are hoping to do something new and refreshing with music. We hope to shine a light on the amazing music produced in Teesside and promote it to the world. We firmly believe in the unique talent and spirit of this amazing area and hope that you will come to appreciate the musical output of this long-neglected area of the UK.
Some say that every cloud has a silver lining. Here at Black Cloud Records, we hope to establish just that and prove that great music can resonate from the murky depths of Teesside in the North East of England.

David Mackin’s 80’s flavoured classic Murder In The Rain has now been released and is available on all streaming services. This collection of songs loosely follows the concept of the Pulp Fiction/Film Noir stories of the 1920’s and 30’s.
In September the dazzling STVTIC will release her debut album ‘If Only It Was Black and White’. This stunning electro acoustic temptress has a completely unique sound and we cannot wait to share such an original artist with the world alongside her amazing video visuals. The anonymous musician that is STVTIC a refreshing breath of fresh air to the music scene.
Doctor Dansette is currently recording a stunning debut album of electro-sonic delights. David Mackin will be re-releasing The Hermitage Suite in December, with embellished additions to the original 1998 release.
The year proves to be a promising one, given all of the social changes that we are all enduring; good music should see us through it.
